The Druid’s Keep 17th Anniversary Run

Seventeen years ago on a cold winter’s evening in Fishtown, four runners (Mike & Samantha Xander, Larry Kelsall & David April) left 2346 E. Susquehanna Ave. on a run that ended at The Druid's Keep. In a moment of good cheer, they ordered several bottles of Chimay, and David wished all a Merry Christmas and offered a toast, “To The Professor!”. Thus began the Fishtown Beer Runners and a tradition of responsible running and drinking in the interest of science. In honor of this special occasion, we will return to Druid's Keep to celebrate.

The Fishtown Beer Runners meet every Thursday at 7 pm at three different starting locations throughout the city:
• Palmer Park in Fishtown
• City Hall at Courtyard at City Hall
• 7th & Bainbridge in South Philly
